Katymac
While we were at Move-it, a lot of colleges were telling us that DD could do a general first year, then specialise in either dance or MT. This seemed eminently sensible to me - but is it the way colleges usually work or is it something new?
dramascientist
Katymac yes I think this is often the case now. In fact I was in the first year at Laines when they started doing this. Everybody did MT as part of the curriculum the first year then after assessment and discussion with the teachers chose to either continue with MT or drop it and do the purely dance course. However my niece who is at a small college in Liverpool had to audition at the end of the first year to get onto the MT course so it is not necessarily so. I guess its bet to ask if you are unsure.
