Jan McNulty Posted December 26, 2024 Posted December 26, 2024 From the Dance Consortium website: https://danceconsortium.com/touring/ballet-bc-2025/book-now/ I'm very disappointed that the company isn't coming to The Lowry. 2
Ballet Mike Posted December 26, 2024 Posted December 26, 2024 (edited) I'm fortunate enough to see Ballet BC often in Vancouver, where they are based. The company's new-ish (2020) artistic director, Medhi Walerski, has been a fantastic addition. I'll miss them in the UK when they tour in 2025, but I'll catch them in Vancouver. I have always found the company's pieces (not their dancing) hit and miss (though I loved the company's Romeo and Juliet - they should perform that again!), but lately I've been enjoying them more, and I put that down to Waterski. They are well worth seeing if you get a chance. Edited December 26, 2024 by Ballet Mike 1
alison Posted December 26, 2024 Posted December 26, 2024 Oops - a bit of autocorrect there?! I must admit, I did misread it as waterski the first time anyway! 1
