SAB (School of American Ballet) - Culmination of its 90th Birthday Celebrations in 2024

Just watched this video - perhaps the last to be issued by SAB in the year of its 90th Birthday.  

 

Loved the wonderful Lauren Lovette's description of it as 'rebellious refinement'.  What I so love about SAB is that it lets itself speak for itself.  No bell ringing.  It doesn't need it.  It is what it is and that it is enough.  Certainly it - as an institution - has given me so very much over the various decades of my life.  It is the art and preservation of ballet in America.  It continues to feed an ever more hungry world.
