Kirsten Simone has died

Kirsten Simone, Royal Danish Ballet dancer and guest artist around the world, mentor to Alexei Ratmansky when he and his wife were in Copenhagen, has died at the age of 90.

 

"Solo dancer" from 1956, in 1966 she was awarded the title of "first solo dancer" - a title no longer awarded and which was the equivalent of prima ballerina assoluta.

So sorry to hung this. Simone was lovely. I’m so read to read at he died. How I loved her 1964 did and her dancing in the RDA days. 💕
