Winter International Draft Works at ROH

I've seen a few Royal Ballet members posting rehearsal shots for the Winter International Draft Works at the Royal Opera House, including Denilson Almeida here and a Marcelino Sambé piece with Viola Pantuso here. 

 

It sounds like this is taking place next week, though I can't see tickets for this on sale anyway.  Is this simply an internal showcase ahead of the public International Draft Works in the spring?

 

Also this is my first post in the forum, so hopefully all okay!

I can’t see anything about a “winter Draftworks” either …just the April one in terms of being able to buy tickets for 🤔

Has anyone found any information or details about this Draft Works yet?

Will be in London all next week and would love to attend, if it is open to the public and taking place next week?

Looks like rehearsals are now,

(Sambé/Ball/Pantuso) according to Instagram posts, but still no specifics given.

@EdwardL12 and @BeatriceP I can't see any listings for a Draft Works next week. All I see at the Royal Opera House is Maddaddam, Tosca (opera) and Tales of  Hoffmann (opera), and walking tours around the opera house. If anyone finds any more, feel free to add!

 

ENB are performing Nutcracker in  Southampton and BRB are performing Nutcracker in Birmingham. There's The Snowman at Peacock Theatre and Sadler's Wells are presenting contemporary dance: Akram Khan's Gigenis today and tomorrow, Michael Keegan-Dolan on 27-30 Dec, Eva Recacha's The Picnic at Baylis Studio on 27-29 Dec. 

 

There's National Theatre's new staging of Noel Streatfeild's Ballet Shoes every evening from Tue 26th to Sat 30th (previews). The Royal Shakespeare Company is staging another version of The Red Shoes on Tuesday to Saturday at Stratford-upon-Avon (not London). Both productions have dancing as well.as speaking.

@EdwardL12 that should read November for those Sadler's Wells programmes, not December.

 

I've asked someone in the RB about whether any Draft Works are being performed this month, but as it's the weekend, I might not get a reply till next week.

The mystery deepens. Marcelino Sambé posted today on his Instagram story that he’s been working on Draft Works with dancers for presentation on 28 & 29 November. 
Maybe not for public presentation at this stage, perhaps internal selection process to determine which pieces go forwards to the Spring?
