Cosmo
Hi there My daughter’s ballet teacher has moved abroad so I’m looking for a new teacher a few evenings a week. She currently attends MA’s. Just wondering if anyone has any recommendations? Many thanks
munchkin16
Not quite Tring but close by, you could look at Vyne Academy in Berkhamsted

Legseleven
Would any of your DD’s MA friends recommend their dance schools, and/or their MA teacher?

I know those areas very well and happy to let you know our experience of which schools/teachers are good/nurturing and also the opposite (based on just our personal experience of course). MissEmily
Jo de Souza seems to be an excellent teacher, so much so that I sent her a message asking if I might observe her teaching for some CPD. She responded that that would be a safeguarding issue and then blocked me! 😳 But clearly she takes safeguarding very seriously as well as teaching to a high standard! She’s in Tring.
Elivry
Not sure that is a safeguarding issue? She is an excellent teacher but I was also blocked and all of my children too

I find that very strange! Surely teachers are there to support each other? And safeguarding......if you have an up to date DBS then why would there be an issue? bunnydoesballet Posted Tuesday at 19:29 Share Posted Tuesday at 19:29 Lucky escape. Very unprofessional relationship with parents and talk about everyone behind their back
Elivry Posted Tuesday at 20:59 Share Posted Tuesday at 20:59 It is good to know I am not alone. It is not professional behaviour at all especially when your child is still included on their Instagram post but you don't have access to it
