Interested Parent
Redroofs is very near me in Berkshire. The majority of their lessons are very much musical theatre driven and they produce strong child stars for the West End and television. I don't believe there is any bias towards classical ballet. Have you looked at their website?

atacrossroads
It's a wonderful school for musical theatre and their tap and modern are very strong. As well as a great all round musical theatre education, it's very small and has a really lovely close family atmosphere
tutugirl
My DS got a place there a few years ago - turned down in favour of hammond , and now at Tring . We liked the ethos of the school , very small, friendly and very supportive , but there was no boarding , and DS wasn't keen on living with a 'host family'. It is well recognised along with Sylvia Young , and if DS had been more biased to musical theatre , things may have panned out differently . He is a classical dancer and this was another factor - not enough ballet . Impressive school though - no frills - old fashioned class rooms - small classes . Good luck !
