Sim
I have just read about this here: https://slippedisc.com/2023/09/royal-opera-house-dresses-down-for-an-orchestra-strike/ It seems that they have decided to strike, but we don’t know when yet. It will affect opera and ballet (although conceivably ballets could be danced to recorded music in order to avoid cancellations. However, this is not an option for the opera). I do hope they come to an agreement so that strike action is averted.
Henry
Could they strike on the same days as the Tube/Rail strikes? Please? P.S. This topic will have a big effect for a lot of users of this site. Would it be better in a more prominent place? e.g. in "Ballet/Dance news & information"? Thanks
