I'm sure you'll join us in congratulating them both on this news and we hope that you will come to see them perform in the near future.

What lovely news - thanks Janet.  Especially exciting as I’m taking my niece to her first Swan Lake tomorrow afternoon and see that Max is dancing.  My first time at this production and very interested to see it

How lovely.  I thought Max was superb in the Evening of Music and Dance last weekend.  He did a variation from Rhapsody with Beatrice Parma and it was some of the most supportive and responsive partnering I've seen in a long time.  He really seems to get how to respond to the music and the woman he's with to get the best from both.  I thought he was a really sensitive and mature dancer.

Lachlan was also great in that, doing a lovely pas de deux from Carmen.  He's really attractive and charismatic.

I'm very pleased to hear of Monaghan's promotion. I really liked him in Hobson's Choice in 2019, tried too see him in the Nutcracker later that year but unfortunately there was a cast change, and finally managed to see him again in Don Quixote last summer in which I also thought he was excellent. I'll certainly be booking to see him again in the future if I can. (Maslen I've not seen in any significant roles, having only seen BRB the 3 times in recent years, so I'm afraid I can't say anything about him.)
