Lizbie1 Posted October 18, 2022 Posted October 18, 2022 I don't think his is a name I'd heard mentioned as being in the frame, and I haven't seen him conduct. Does anyone have any thoughts? It will be interesting to see where the repertoire goes.
San Perregrino Posted October 18, 2022 Posted October 18, 2022 He’s announced he’ll do a full Ring Cycle in his first season.
alison Posted October 18, 2022 Posted October 18, 2022 Brave I don't remember associating him with opera before, so no idea what he's like. I wonder if there will be more detail in Radio 3's In Tune this afternoon? The significant period of overlap between the two conductors ought to be good.
