The Times no longer accepting registrations for 2 free articles per week

Sadly, I have just received confirmation from The Times (via a live chat) that the newspaper is no longer accepting registrations for people to read 2 free articles per week.

In addition, I've been unable to use the email Share button (at the top of each article) since the end of last week.  This used to provide a draft email that included a link to the article in question, complete with some additional code after the words Share Token.  I've just checked again with the Zelensky article in today's Links and that button is yielding nothing at all.  The Twitter button appears still to work and I can't tell about the Facebook one.

 

Is anyone still able to use the email Share button?

Did they say if those already registered will still be able to read 2 articles a week?

Well I've had no problems so far but we'll have to see how long that carries on for.

I am an online subscriber and haven’t been able to use the share button for a number of days either.  😢
