Lisa O`Brien
Apologies if someone has already posted about this. The Lido de Paris on the Champs Elysees, is to close. The dancers and nearly all staff are to lose their jobs. It is of course home to the Bluebell Girls, and I know that my old school, Northern, was the training ground for lots of future Lido and Moulin Rouge dancers over the years. Out of the 'Big Three" Paris Revues; the Moulin Rouge, the Lido and the Folies Bergere, only the Moulin will continue. A sign of the times maybe, but a sad state of affairs none the less. That was decades ago…but the historic Folies-Bergere Theatre continues as a popular concert venue. https://www.foliesbergere.com/uk
