Guest oncnp Posted February 27, 2022 Posted February 27, 2022 Out April 1 in UK with Daniel Camargo, Sasha Mukhamedov, Vito Mazzeo and Irek Mukhamedov. Social media is an unkind space, Darcey Bussell warns teens | Darcey Bussell | The Guardian Coppelia film
Ian Macmillan Posted February 27, 2022 Posted February 27, 2022 It's beyond me why The Observer (Guardian group) can't get its Sunday stuff online before 8 am - it's something that's become a habit over the past few months and is a mild Links irritant. But there are bigger issues around right now ..... 3

But as Ian says it is a mild irritant when you look at the bigger issues around right now. 1
Geoff Posted February 27, 2022 Posted February 27, 2022 Any chance of correcting the spelling of Darcey’s name in the headline?

FionaM Posted February 28, 2022 Posted February 28, 2022 Doesn’t this movie star Michela dePrince as Swan(hilda)? Seems a bit odd to not mention the main role in the list above ? 3

I assume Fiona means that the cast is not listed in full in the original post. This list is copied from the note on the trailer and, indeed, Michela dePrince is starring as Swanilda: Starring: Michaela DePrince as Swan Daniel Camargo as Franz Vito Mazzeo as Doctor Coppelius with Darcey Bussell, Erica Horwood, Jan Kooijman, Igone de Jongh, Irek Mukhamedov, Sasha Mukhamedov, Glynis Terborg and dancers of Dutch National Ballet There was a review of the Blu-ray edition of this film included in Links in October: https://insidepulse.com/2021/10/26/blu-ray-review-coppelia/ 1

Emeralds Posted March 2, 2022 Posted March 2, 2022 I saw a few clips of this online last year, with Michaela de Prince as Swanilda, Daniel Camargo as Franz. It looked great in a digital format!

FionaM Posted March 29, 2022 Posted March 29, 2022 Two of my local cinemas are showing this (hooray) … but only as afternoon matinees. Is it being marketed as made for children?
