balletla Posted December 13, 2012 Share Posted December 13, 2012 What surprises me more is that you have to have passed Adv 2 with distinction to enter and there are a couple of 15 year olds and four 16 year olds in the final. I don't know any schools here where students take Adv 2 by 15; Elmhurst and RBS don't take Adv 1 until year 11 (age 15/16). Seems a bit premature, even if you can do it. Is this another example of other countries pushing further and faster with their ballet training?
