Kitschqueen_1
Are there any other balletcoers going to the Royal Opera House on Saturday evening? Whilst there will be no surprises in RB's Nutcracker I love how it gets me in the Christmas mood . I've got my two young nieces coming too so it will be new and exciting for them and I'm sure they will love all the workshops and dressing up before the performance. I think a bit of retail therapy is called for too!
bangorballetboy
My better third and I are going as we had already booked tickets before it became a welcome performance. Any chance you could let me have the details of the fun and games beforehand?
Kitschqueen_1
Hi bangorballetboy, on my letter it says that the pre-performance activities start at 4.30pm but it doesn't say what these will entail. Last year these took place upstairs and there were mask making workshops, talks and lots of costumes on display and to try on. Great for younger children

alison
Funny: on the old system, those sort of events would have been publicly visible on the booking schedule.
Anna C
Is this a different "Welcome Performance" to the one on 6th January then?

Anna C
Ah, thanks BBB. I went and had a look, and they seem to be sponsored by different organisations. Ticket prices seem similar though - £19.50 or £20 for top price seats.
