Dadzilla Posted September 28, 2020 Posted September 28, 2020 My child has recently lost a place due to the sudden closure of UK based ballet upper school. I am now very wary about sending her to live independently at 16. One of the preferred options is the school at Ballet Theatre UK which as I understand cannot be discussed in public on this forum. Are there any current or former parents who would be willing to discuss their experience with the school (good or bad) privately with me? After the last few weeks, we do not want to end up in a similar situation again.
Anon2 Posted September 28, 2020 Posted September 28, 2020 I can’t help with info regarding that particular institution but were you aware that Elmhurst had posted about taking late applicants onto their sixth form course? There is info on their website under the news section 3
Jan McNulty Posted September 28, 2020 Posted September 28, 2020 Here is the press release about Elmhurst accepting late applications: 2
alison Posted September 28, 2020 Posted September 28, 2020 If that's still the case, it might well be a good option. Didn't we say some other schools might be available, too? I think we had another thread on it - or may have been individual threads on specific schools.
Dadzilla Posted September 29, 2020 Author Posted September 29, 2020 Thanks everyone for the information provided. Regards Dadzilla
Dancing unicorn Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 Would fullly recommend KS Dance Warrington 😁
