Let's Move - A National Dance Summer School via Zoom - 12-14 August

In case your DC aren't already sick of Zoom dance classes, this arrived in my inbox - it seems to be in association with The Place:

"This summer, The Place have teamed up with some of the UK’s leading dance organisations, including DanceEast, DanceXchange, National Dance Company Wales, Pavilion Dance South West and Phoenix Dance Theatre for three days of challenges, activities and high quality dance training online for 8-17 year olds.

 

Taking place on Zoom, Let's Move! offers:

• Daily warm-ups with all summer school participants
• Two workshops (one hour each) per day in smaller groups
• Six workshops in total
• The chance to connect with other young dancers from across the UK

 

With each workshop taught by a different partner organisation, you'll get to explore a range of dance styles from Creative Contemporary and Hip Hop to Commercial Jazz and company repertoire workshops.

 

All you have to decide is whether to join us in the morning or in the afternoon!

 

Dates: Wed 12 - Fri 14 Aug

Times: Morning: 9.30am - 12.30pm OR Afternoon: 1pm - 4pm

Recommended age: 8-17 years (participants will be grouped by age)

Cost: £35

Bursaries available: Each partner organisation has an equal, but limited fund available for bursaries."
