JohnS
Many thanks Rob - very good to see but I do wish they’d kept Francesca Hayward’s delivery of the Morgen translation which I thought was very much part of the performance.
Beryl H
The BBC are showing the highlights on Friday 10th July, 7pm-8.30pm, BBC4. All the ballet choreographers are mentioned in the RT, so as the total ballet probably amounts to about 30 minutes, we might see it all.
alison
Which highlights? Of all 3? You certainly can't do Song of the Earth as highlights!

From Radio Times description "featuring a world premiere from choreographer Wayne MacGregor, classic opera arias and song performed by Gerald Finley, Louise Alder, Toby Spence, David Butt Philip, Sarah Connolly and the Royal Opera House's Jette Parker Young Artists, plus excerpts from ballets by Ashton, MacMillan and Wheeldon." Same information on the BBC 4 website. Edited July 1, 2020 by oncnp
alison
That's a lot to fit into an hour and a half! I thought someone said something about July 19th?

July 19 mentioned at the very bottom of this Telegraph review. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/opera/what-to-see/live-covent-garden-review-royal-opera-house-jolly-mix-popular/ Sooner works for me though. alison
Just thought I'd remind people that there are only a few days to go to watch the last broadcast from the ROH, featuring - dance-wise - Kaneko/Clarke in the pas de deux from Concerto and Magri/Ball ditto from Within the Golden Hour, plus interviews with the dancers and Kevin O'Hare. "Highlights" will be broadcast on BBC4 on Friday, but there's no guarantee of what those will consist of. https://stream.roh.org.uk/products/27-june EDIT: Golden Hour at around 25 minutes in, and Concerto about 1 hr 10.
