"Lockdown" calendar feature

In order to try and keep track of all the dance-related streamings which are being shown at the moment, as an experiment we have reinstated the forum's calendar feature, with forthcoming showings listed in date order in the right-hand column of all the sub-forums, or below them if using a smartphone (the list of new threads can still be accessed from the Home page).  Note that this is a community calendar, which means that any member can add to it!

Do bear in mind that this is meant to be a rough guide only: at the moment, we are only posting dates, plus company and production, rather than anything more specific, so you will need to check actual "show" times, if there are any, for your time zone, and remember that depending on where you are in the world and where the transmission originates from, you may need to add or deduct a day.

How it works:

- A "Calendar" tab has been added to the tabs at top left of the forum, and clicking on it will take you to the actual calendar.  There, you can click on "Create Event" to add an event.

- Set the correct date, and uncheck "Single day event" and put in an end date if the event runs for more than one day.  Ignore "This event repeats"!

- Then put a title - we would suggest company, production, and possibly choreographer (maybe with some indication of whether it can only be viewed at a specific time, if applicable), and put some text in the Description box too (this doesn't actually show up in the listings).  Ideally, put the link to the stream so others don't have to hunt around for it.  Click on "Submit an event", and Bob's your uncle!

- If you need to edit the event, go to the calendar itself, click on the event, and then you can edit it under "Manage Event", remembering to click on "Save" afterwards!

Please do add any online dance events you think will be of interest.  Other events possibly too, if you think they will be of interest to sufficient members.  This is all very new, and we'll sort out any teething problems as we go along, so please do leave feedback.

On re-reading this, I've since realised that if the correct time zone and time for the performance are put in, the time should adjust to the reader's own time zone anyway.
