swanprincess
Hi all! I just wondered whether anyone has any ideas of how to buy a small bit of harlequin/Lino flooring for a temporary home studio? ideally not too expensive as it is just for during the quarantine time! Thank you!
TwoLeftFeet
Hi Swan Princess - we went to our nearest carpet showroom at the weekend and bought a remnant piece of slip resistant lino, it works perfectly! Hopefully you'll find one near you too.
AdageKitty
Was going to post the same as we are in need of one as well. Did a quick search and found this: https://www.danceandstage.co.uk/uni-multi?gclid=CjwKCAjwvOHzBRBoEiwA48i6Au9r5XcdVMZoaMLi39d5Yx0S8EQIghbCBnBWQ3aowQROGNJBB4efqxoCYm0QAvD_BwE The price seems quite reasonable. Does anyone know if this is any good?
swanprincess
AdageKitty that one looks great- except the delivery cost for it seems to be £20 😯
AdageKitty
Ow, that's expensive! Almost as much as the cost of the floor itself!
SMabbutt
This may sound like a silly question but what size would I need to buy to make it worthwhile for my DD to use? Edited March 23, 2020 by SMabbutt
AdageKitty
We don't have a very big living room so for us I'd be looking to get something like 1.5 x 1.5 meters. Enough to do some barre work I would think. If you're lucky enough to have a bigger space where your DD could do some center work, the more the merrier! Unfortunately it's not an option for us.
