Jeannette
A lovely, substantial program from Munich...three (3) complete ballets, each between 20-30 minutes in duration. The Scarlett, which was controversial when performed by ABT in NY, was 'toned down' here, with the offensive groping parts filmed from a far distance. Bravo, Bavarian State Ballet!

alison
Thanks, Naomi. I've popped this in the calendar just to see, so I guess it will confirm if it is indeed 5 am for us in the UK! We do of course have readers from other countries as well, so it may be of use to them.

simonbfisher
I am so glad I crawled out of bed - that was a really beautiful Paquita to wake up to, and there is much more to come! But, again, so sad to see the curtain calls to an empty auditorium, though I am sure I could hear violin bows being tapped in approval.

Bruce Wall
I know a lot of people here (including myself) enjoy Cranko's Oneign ... so you might be interested in the segment from the NBoC (National Ballet of Canada's) digital season just released. You can see Lunkina/McKie in that a piece from that work.

The alignment of mug handles at the end made me smile and I’m happy to hold my hand up to such fastidiousness.
DanJL
Some tantalising news from Norwegian National Ballet. They are going to stream two separate performances of Onegin, as far as I understand from google translate with different casts. Sadly the text says this is only available in Norway, but in case anyone reading this is based there, more info here https://operaen.no/en/Productions/onegin/ Just to add apparently this is a production with newly designed costumes. Edited January 19, 2021 by DanJL Forgot to mention costumes!
