A lovely, substantial program from Munich...three (3) complete ballets, each between 20-30 minutes in duration. The Scarlett, which was controversial when performed by ABT in NY, was 'toned down' here, with the offensive groping parts filmed from a far distance. Bravo, Bavarian State Ballet!

Thanks, Naomi.  I've popped this in the calendar just to see, so I guess it will confirm if it is indeed 5 am for us in the UK!  We do of course have readers from other countries as well, so it may be of use to them.

According to the link given it is 5am. I've set a reminder but don't know if I'll be around at that time, especially as our computer is in the room where the dogs sleep!

Still Life at the Penguin Cafe is from 7:00am in UK so maybe a little more practical time?

Radio 4’s “Something Understood” on the subject of Obsession has an interesting small segment with Deborah  Bull on  what makes a ballet dancer.

Deborah Bull was very good. The alignment of mug handles at the end made me smile and I’m happy to hold my hand up to such fastidiousness.

Some tantalising news from Norwegian National Ballet. They are going to stream two separate performances of Onegin, as far as I understand from google translate with different casts. Sadly the text says this is only available in Norway, but in case anyone reading this is based there, more info here https://operaen.no/en/Productions/onegin/

Just to add apparently this is a production with newly designed costumes.
