Mandy Kent
Any news on casting for Wind In The Willows this season? Is it too much to hope for Matthew Hart?
alison
Hi Mandy, good to see you here. I hope not, because that's what I'm hoping too! (I'd also assumed, until you mentioned it, but there actually isn't any casting mentioned on the site. Fingers crossed!)
Sim
Does anybody know who will be dancing Toad for these upcoming performances? There is no mention on the cast list on the ROH website. I am kind of hoping it will be Matthew Hart, but would love to know. Can anyone out there enlighten me?? Thanks!
Jan McNulty
I've merged the topics for convenience. I loved this when I saw it at the Lowry a few years ago and so did my niece, whom I took with me.
Norman Reynolds
Any news on casting for Wind In The Willows this season? Is it too much to hope for Matthew Hart? Matthew Hart has been creating a new Circus-based version of The Nutcracker for Sarasota Ballet for December 14th and 15th. http://arts.heraldtr...med-nutcracker/ http://www.sarasotab...ormances-lineup He may be rather busy. However, as we know, Mr Toad relishes fantastic feats!
aileen
Sarasota Ballet seems to be keen on British choreographers. This season the company is performing ballets by Ashton, Tudor and Wheedon as well as a newly commissioned work by Will Tuckett.

Glad to see he is busy in this way, but let's hope that he does indeed do a fantastic feat and come back to us to perform as Toad!!

This season the company is performing ballets by Ashton, Tudor and Wheedon as well as a newly commissioned work by Will Tuckett. That's because their AD is the former RB dancer Iain Webb: he's done a lot of Ashton and other good stuff in recent years. I hope Sarasota know how lucky they are.

Mandy Kent
I am SO pleased to have Will Kemp back as Ratty and Luke Heydon as the Gaolers Daughter, these roles were created on them. Wishing Cris Penfold 'merde' in his Toad debut. Matthew Hart will be a hard act to follow...although Ewan Wardrop was a fine Toad too. Matthew Hart has a very special place in my Heart though Edited December 2, 2012 by Mandy Kent
