“A terrific show with some fine dancing and some excellent new choreography” Dance Europe on English National Ballet School’s Winter Showcase. 

 

On the 18 and 19 July, English National Ballet School presents its Summer Performances at the West End’s Peacock Theatre, showcasing the students’ versatility on a major stage in front of a live audience.

 

In the first Summer Performances under the direction of internationally celebrated dancer Viviana Durante, students will perform new classical choreography by Andrew McNicol, Annabelle Lopez Ochoa’s Memorias del Dorado and excerpts from some of the great classical ballets. 

 

Alongside this is a new contemporary work created especially for English National Ballet School by renowned choreographer Didy Veldman, as well as a presentation developed through a series of workshops with Akram Khan Company.

In Spring 2020 English National Ballet School will move into its new home at London City Island in East London, joining English National Ballet for the first time in 25 years. This transformational move will provide the School with state-of-the-art gym and rehab facilities, three stage sized studios, a dance lab lecture theatre, and common room spaces. Being under the same roof as English National Ballet will allow students the opportunity to increase interaction with and be inspired by the professional dancers in the Company.
