Jan McNulty
We've woken up this morning to the sad news that Hollywood legend Kirk Douglas has passed away at the age of 103. He will probably be remembered most for his role as Spartacus but had a very wide-ranging career as an actor, producer and director. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-11009244
Sim
Good old Kirk...he had a good innings and a wonderful life. I always remember him in The Vikings...when I was a child I was terrified by his fake eye in that film! "I'm Spartacus" will always be entwined with Life of Brian for me...where one of the crowd says "I'm Brian...and so's my wife!" RIP Kirk.
Lisa O`Brien
Loved him as Vincent Van Gogh in Lust For Life. One of my all-time favourite films I could watch again and again.
