Ivy Lin
So I decided to compare Megxit with several unhappy operatic princesses: https://humbledandoverwhelmed.blogspot.com/2020/01/megxit-unhappy-operatic-princesses.html
Sim
Interesting! But Meghan has a lot more choices than most of those other unhappy women did!
LinMM
Although it's a clever play on Brexit I don't actually like the term Megxit as I think it's used perjoratively here in UK as seeing her as being behind all the current problems which is totally ridiculous of course. I can't comment on the operatic princesses unfortunately!

Like Sim, though, I don’t think Ms Markle falls into the same category, I could think of loads but tragic wouldn’t be one of them! Ivy Lin
I don't think Meghan is tragic either but I just had fun writing this. For one the overwrought press coverage really was operatic. I half expected some of the royal rota to break out in a mad scene.
