serwooooosh
Hi, Making an animation/ flip book for my ballet-loving Mum for Christmas - I've chosen this section of the Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy: https://youtu.be/zV1qLYukTH8?t=88 (beginning at 1min 28s) The ballerina does three sets of triple turns, does this turn have a name or is it a combination of steps that have names? I am clueless. Any help would be appreciated, thank you. R
Clara_f
Hello It is a combination of two steps: The jump up and to the side is called a "gargouillade", followed by a single turn which is called "soutenu en tournant". Hope that helps.
