The programme also includes Radio and Juliet and Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui's Faun.

'....to celebrate the most beautiful animal on earth: the human being'  I have to say I find tigers a lot more beautiful than any human being, not to mention Arab horses, wolves and eagles :D  Sounds an intriguing programme though, and it's good to know Watson is in performance condition.

I realized that although we had a thread for Zakharova at the Coliseum we didn't have one for Smirnova et al, so have borrowed Jan's post from the Edward Watson thread to start one :)  The Broadway World link is basically a long press release, but the substance is:

- UK premiere of Edward Clug's 'RADIO & JULIET' set to the music of Radiohead and performed by English National Ballet First Soloist Katja Khaniukova and Principal of the Mariinsky Ballet Denis Matvienko.

- Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui's 'FAUN' (2009), a re-make of Nijinsky's classic 'L'après Midi d'un Faune' (1912) performed by two of the Bolshoi's finest Principals: Anastasia Stashkevich and Vaycheslav Lopatin.

- World premiere of 'McGREGOR + MUGLER', a contemporary ballet choreographed by Royal Ballet Resident Choreographer Wayne McGregor, art directed and designed by legendary creator Manfred Thierry Mugler and performed by Bolshoi Ballet Prima Ballerina Olga Smirnova and Royal Ballet Principal Edward Watson.
