Ballet Photoshoots

Hi All

 

With the rise of Instagram comes the rise of the gorgeous ballet photo! I would really like to buy my teen a photoshoot for Christmas as I am not skilled in this direction, one using outdoor locations as I know she really likes these - we live in York so there are lotds of very scenic places very close by!. Does anyone have any recommendations for Yorkshire/NE and how much should we realistically pay for 2 hours?

Northern Ballet have had photographs taken by Lisa Stonehouse and Justin Slee.  I think both of these photographers are Yorkshire based.  I've no idea how much it would cost.

gbdancestars do some really nice stuff. My dd did some work with this guy a while back and had had some professional shots done by him. I  think he is based in Sheffield. If you search gbdancestars on insta you can see a lot of

his work.

Ps. You can expect to pay anything from around £200-£350, depending on the photographer

I've just had a look at his gallery and recognised a couple of the dancers! 

They look stunning.  Very tempted for DD!

My dd had a photo shoot with Hotography a couple of months ago. It was her first photo shoot, aged 17.  Would thoroughly recommend Hotography. Simon is really nice and has lots of ideas for interesting shots. It was a fun day and I ended up buying 50 photos because there were so many good ones! Very reasonably priced packages too.

We have had studio and location shoots and both were great but the locations ones in York are stunning ! He really is fab
