Jan McNulty Posted August 1, 2019 Posted August 1, 2019 Sad news from Australia that composer Barrington Pheloung has passed away at the age of 65, Although possibly best known in the UK as the composer of the Morse TV theme, I remember his music being used in many of the London Contemporary Dance Theatre performances I saw in my early days as a dance watcher. Sincere condolences to his family and friends. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-49190169
Anna C Posted August 2, 2019 Posted August 2, 2019 I was so sad to hear this. His music for the Morse programmes was wonderful; such atmospheric scores that contributed so much to the stories. 2
