TinyNEDancer Posted July 30, 2019 Posted July 30, 2019 Does anyone know where I could pick up a few ballet supplies within about 20 miles of Clitheroe please? Thank you
sunrise81 Posted July 30, 2019 Posted July 30, 2019 No help......but do you have a DC at Moorland this week?

The food is great.....she is busy all the time.....says the classes are fab! I think they will be shattered by Saturday! Am guessing there must be a dance shop in Preston though?

She’s not residential this year, although wants to stay next year! She’s one of the youngest there and quite quiet though. She needs some new convertible tights as the ones she’s been wearing have a hole in them apparently...! She has lots of spare normal ones but apparently the convertible ones are much more useful! I’ll try and get her some more tomorrow...
SugarPlum2000 Posted July 30, 2019 Posted July 30, 2019 There is one in Preston called the Dancer’s Wardrobe. It’s a reasonable shop and would be useful if it was just convertible tights that are needed

glissade Posted July 31, 2019 Posted July 31, 2019 If stuck, you can snip a hole in the foot of 'normal' tights and stop the edges fraying with clear nail varnish. Just make a small snip though, as the material 'pings' easily!
Kate_N Posted July 31, 2019 Posted July 31, 2019 There’s also a good shop in Morecambe, but Preston’s probably closer.
TinyNEDancer Posted July 31, 2019 Author Posted July 31, 2019 Thanks @glissade - top tip!! And thank you, @Kate_N- we went to one in Blackburn as it was a bit closer than the others... but we would need one of the others if we needed more than tights!
Clarkd3 Posted August 1, 2019 Posted August 1, 2019 There’s a second dance shop in Preston called Strictly dance too x
glowlight Posted August 2, 2019 Posted August 2, 2019 There used to be a really good dance shop in Colne. Haven't used it for years so I don't know if it still there. I think it was called 'Song and Dance' or something like that.
