Summer School Week 12th August

Recommended Posts

Does anyone know of any summer schools/couple of days/workshops etc suitable for a 19 year old full time vocational student the week beginning the 12th of August?

Really just looking for some good quality teaching/classes before I (fingers crossed) head off to Genee!

might be best to find a RAD dancer who has entered Genee in the past few years to work with if their ballet companies season hasn’t started back.

There are classes with Claudia Dean in London with a possibility of a private lesson as well. My dd's dance teacher suggested she go but as she is from Australia we haven't any previous experience personally.

Bristol Russian senior summer school is on towards the end of that week. Excellent classes and repertoire taught. They do also offer privates and are used to RAD dancers too.

Alternatively, you could contact BW as they have entered dancers in the Genee before.

Malvern Ballet Seminars are excellent, running in the summer this year for the first time, normally just at Easter . @BadBallerina, I think  you know my dd,(  think we’ve had this discussion previously), she has been to the Easter one if you want to know more and has been taught by Olivia Pickford a lot.
