John Mallinson Posted April 26, 2019 Posted April 26, 2019 Came across this event via Twitter. Seems to be a panel discussion staged in partnership with UNHCR. The description starts "What role should the arts play in raising our awareness of a global crisis? How can the arts provoke action in the face of record-high displacement on a global scale?" Plainly relates to the Flight Pattern triple bill. Still many tickets available.
Bruce Wall Posted April 26, 2019 Posted April 26, 2019 (edited) This strikes me as the kind of event which in many other institutions - both in the UK or abroad - would be offered free of any charge ... or certainly free to interested ticket holders. Perhaps that has had an impact on its current ROH commercial sale. Edited April 26, 2019 by Bruce Wall 1
alison Posted April 26, 2019 Posted April 26, 2019 I don't remember seeing any signs of this previously on the Insights listing.

zxDaveM Posted April 26, 2019 Posted April 26, 2019 They are charging fourteen quid for it??? come round my house and you can watch some paint dry, and listen to some music or something. Cost? A snip at a bottle of beer! Be far more entertaining! 2
alison Posted April 26, 2019 Posted April 26, 2019 Talking of which, what's happened to the pre-performance talks the ROH used to do?
