Bruce Wall
Thanks so for those listings, Duck. Thought the web layout/design for the Bordeaux 19/20 season was prime.
Bruce Wall
Rome Opera Ballet has announced its 2019/20 season. https://www.gramilano.com/2019/06/rome-opera-ballet-announces-2019-2020-season/ Depending on the casting dates I think I may have to make my way to this new Corsaire. The idea of a Novikova and Sarafanov (plus Hernandez) outing is too exciting to miss. Their Giselle (e.g., the husband/wife combo of Novikova and Sarafanov) with the Mikhailovsky in the days when the Coliseum still featured major ballet company visits will I think always remain one of my most treasured ballet memories in London. Sad that the audience for that would - at best - have been but just over a quarter full. It was totally stellar nonetheless. Bruce Wall
Alban Lendorf (formerly of the RDB) has now been removed from ABT's principal roster. One wishes him the best for his future whatever it may entail. Edited August 16, 2019 by Bruce Wall

capybara
Precious Adams (First Artist at ENB) has recently starred as Aurora with Cape Town City Ballet. Here is a review. https://www.bizcommunity.com/Article/196/477/194470.html I believe that Vadim Muntagirov is scheduled to dance in Sleeping beauty there on the 28th and 31st August with Tatiana Melnik (Hungarian National Ballet Principal) as Aurora.
