alison
It's that time of year again - fundraising, with money raised being doubled by The Big Give. English National Ballet is trying to raise money for the new work by Stina Quagebeur: " Join us in our continuing commitment to female choreographers and artists Donate to our Big Give Christmas Challenge campaign this week Over the next 7 days, we are raising money to support our new commission Nora, by English National Ballet First Artist and talented choreographer Stina Quagebeur. Show your support for Stina's first main commission for our Company by donating this week so we can hit our £40,000 Christmas Challenge target and have the donations doubled (meaning we will receive £80,000 in total)! Your gift, whatever the size, will make a real difference and directly support this exciting new piece.Nora is inspired by Henrik Ibsen’s A Doll’s House and will be part of our triple bill She Persisted, debuting at Sadler’s Wells in April 2019. Also featuring ballets by Pina Bausch and Annabelle Lopez Ochoa, She Persisted will strengthen the legacy of She Said, our first programme dedicated to female choreographers. alison
Ooh, that all posted! I didn't think it would. Anyway, if you know of any other dance-related fundraising attempts in The Big Give, please post them here so that we get a good balance. Thank you!
