JA insight days - Leeds

Does anyone know what time the JA insight days are usually held? We’re hoping to go to the Leeds one but it’s on a school day.

Different times all throughout the day. Ours was just before lunch, so it was a whole day off school!!!!

That’s useful to know. Thank you. I’m expecting school to say no so we may need to give it a miss.

Really?! My daughter's school has always been supportive. Authorised each day she has had off for workshops, and even my school for me has (though had to take the days unpaid).

I hope they’ll be ok but they’re quite strict with absences. They’d agree one for an audition but maybe not an insight day. Plus if the auditions are also on school days we might get a bit stuck. I’ll emphasise the benefits of the insight day, see what the head says on Monday and hope that she says yes, and that the days not fully booked up by then.

One of my pupils (and I) have just booked for Birmingham which is on a Sunday! Can you not do that one instead? Just a thought x
