alison
I had wondered whether Rojo was going to dance Manon herself, but obviously not. Well, some very interesting casting, although like capybara I'm also interested to see who's going to be performing Lescaut and Mistress. Presumably Reimair, Streeter, Kase ... ?

No one seems to know where he’s been since he left the RB. I had no idea he was still dancing! Can anyone fill in the gaps of what he’s been doing? I see that he co-founded a film company: 'Founded in 2016, Pennefather Films is a small independent film company based in London, England. We enjoy creating dance focused films and working on projects which explore movement and showcase new and exciting choreographies on screen. We keenly collaborate with choreographers working in a variety of dance styles.' (From their website.) cavycapers
Oh, it was only when I was looking through the casting to see when Aaron Robison would be dancing that I realised he's gone 😟 once again, the rate of turnover at the ENB gives me cause for concern. I struggled to recognise more than a couple of people in the group photograph..... BTW, I was wondering what Rupert Pennefather has been doing since leaving the RB in 2015? I look forward to his Des Grieux.

RUPERT PENNEFATHER - late of the RB - joins the Company as a guest to dance Des Grieux. Who will dance the role of Manon? Casting for our national tour of Manon has been announced We're thrilled to announce Principal casting for the national tour of Manon. Alina Cojocaru, Jurgita Dronina, Emma Hawes and Alison McWhinney debut in the title role with English National Ballet, while Erina Takahashi and Begoña Cao return to the role. Joseph Caley, Jeffrey Cirio, Isaac Hernández, Francesco Gabriele Frola and Aitor Arrieta make their debuts in the role of Des Grieux with English National Ballet. Former Royal Ballet Principal Rupert Pennefather joins as a Guest Artist in the same role – his first performance with the Company. Casting for the London performances is yet to be announced.Exact casting here Here the young Italian new ENB Company Principal - Francesco Gabriele Frola - so wonderful in the lead role of of Neumeier's Nijinsky in Paris last year with NBoC - rehearses the first bedroom PDD with Alison MacWhinney under Gary Harris' tutelage. Perhaps I have suddenly lost all my computer skills, but I find ENB's website unfathomable. It says Casting for all Dates and then all you get is Manchester. I eventually found Alina's dates under Performer but does it have to be that difficult?

Sorry I don't know the route numbers. Several buses go from the station to the theatre but, in my experience, they take around 12-15 minutes. If I remember correctly I've taken the 2 or the 4 but I believe there are many others as well. There are several bus stops at the station and, once you've decided which bus you're taking, it's important to wait at the right stop. If you google "bus from Milton Keynes Central to Milton Keynes Theatre" you'll reach a site where you can put in the day and time you want to travel. You'll be given various options which tell you both the numbers of the possible buses and the stops that they leave from.

RuthE
ISTR that the Milton Keynes buses website makes it almost impossible to find out the fares. But I remember two useful things from my last couple of visits (for Welsh National Opera): - if you ask the driver for a return fare, this is significantly cheaper than an all-day saver type ticket, though this does not appear to be advertised anywhere - on the outward journey, do make sure you know which stop to get off at, because it doesn't feel that near the theatre, but miss it and the next stop is a LONG way past the next junction! I blooming hate Milton Keynes but the theatre is SUCH a useful place to see things on tour.
alison
Guess I shall have to wait until the Coliseum season to see Cao in the role, since she doesn't seem to be cast in any accessible matinees. I certainly don't want to miss her.
