Jan McNulty Posted August 23, 2018 Posted August 23, 2018 Casting for Fille is available on the website for Birmingham, Plymouth and The Lowry: https://www.brb.org.uk/whats-on/event/la-fille-mal-gardee 1
Tony Newcombe Posted August 23, 2018 Posted August 23, 2018 Salford, Plymouth beckon as well as Birmingham 1
Two Pigeons Posted August 23, 2018 Posted August 23, 2018 yippeeeeee. I get my favourite pairing. It's Celine Gittens and Tyrone Singleton on the Thursday night. I would have been very happy to see Lachlan Monaghan but my first preference is always to see Tyrone and Celine in anything.
Two Pigeons Posted August 23, 2018 Posted August 23, 2018 P.s. Lucky Plymouth and Salford. Some really interesting casts coming up.
Lizbie1 Posted August 23, 2018 Posted August 23, 2018 Does this mark a change of heart from BRB about when to announce casting? Salford has been announced a full two months ahead! 2
jmhopton Posted August 23, 2018 Posted August 23, 2018 Yessssssss, Brandon Lawrence and Delia Matthews. That's my Saturday night sorted!! 2
Quintus Posted September 18, 2018 Posted September 18, 2018 I've just booked this at Sadler's Wells as a Parisian friend will be over. Her first ballet, and Fille would not be my first choice as it is so atypical and can be too broad for my taste (ironically exactly this Fille-as-intro situation has happened to me before). Is the BRB usually a good production?
alison Posted September 18, 2018 Posted September 18, 2018 I see BRB's website is following the "everyone has bandwidth to burn: let's run videos automatically" school of thought - beware! I'm afraid I'll have to wait until Sadler's Wells to see this run

You can stop that by turning off Javascript in your browser preferences. Chrome allows you to do that per site rather than just globally, or to do it globally and then set it to allow Javascript per site. 1
alison Posted September 18, 2018 Posted September 18, 2018 Hmm, not too obvious in IE11, but thanks, John. All these things you have to re-set on a relatively new computer ...

Tony Newcombe Posted September 29, 2018 Posted September 29, 2018 Was at the matinee this afternoon. All the very best to Jade Heusen 1
Jan McNulty Posted September 29, 2018 Author Posted September 29, 2018 I'll really miss Jade, I've always enjoyed her performances. Her Spring/Summer season this year was exceptional so very much a "high" to leave on. She absolutely owned Upper Room this Summer. Very best wishes to Jade. 1

alison Posted October 19, 2018 Posted October 19, 2018 Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear. That really does leave me in a quandary! Can someone please remind me how long BRB's production lasts?

Jan McNulty Posted October 19, 2018 Author Posted October 19, 2018 All great casts but it’s a real shame that Miki Mizutani and Lachlan Monaghan aren’t being seen by the London audience. 1

Could it be because both are featured in Ignite and they wanted to share the principal spots for Capital exposure? .... That said, I agree with you, Two Pigeons ... 1
