Jon has more than 20 years’ experience in senior management and leadership roles within the dance sector, including Chief Executive at the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD), Interim Deputy Director of Dance UK (now One Dance UK) and most recently Executive Director of South East Dance in Brighton. He has also served on several committees and has recently been asked to Chair an advisory panel for a leading UK Awarding Body for the active leisure, learning and wellbeing sectors. We are delighted to have Jon join the School at this particularly exciting time as we prepare to move to our new purpose-built facility alongside English National Ballet. He will work with our Director of Dance, Carlos Valcárcel, to lead the School and create our new home in our excellent new location. Jon brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience of the sector and will help lead us to our new home in London City Island”. I am therefore delighted to be joining the School at such a pivotal moment as it prepares itself for moving into its new home at London City Island with English National Ballet in 2019”.
