Geoff
This feature film, opening in the UK on March 1, tells the story of a ballerina recruited to a Russian intelligence service where "she is forced to use her body as a weapon". Polunin is in the cast. More here: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2873282/
bridiem
Sounds - er - interesting; but it's a shame it's not a real ballerina in the role (if I'm reading the cast list correctly).

alison
I always understood the bird reference to be "swallow" rather than "sparrow". ??
LinMM
Have no idea Alison but definitely prefer swallow to sparrow when referring to dancers!! I love chattering little sparrows but no comparison to swallows where movement is concerned!

CeliB
I have to say I can't stomach films where everyone is supposedly speaking their native language but with a hokey accent (and I've heard enough Russian now to know how bad the accents are!). It just makes it all seem faintly ridiculous....
