alison
I have tried to find this one and the few I have seen are a fortune- something like $100! I do hope it will be available somewhere in a reasonable price range... Welcome, Boomer. Wasn't this one shown on UK TV a few years back?
Boomer
Humm- in that case the odds go up that it could show up on YouTube! Thanks for the welcome- very happy to be here among people of similar interest!
Chris
Sorry if everyone already knows this but there is a very mixed bag of short dance films on the Space. It's available on Freesat, FreeView or you can watch online http://thespace.org/. My favourite is "Alastair Fish" in the Dance for the Camera series -which bears repeat viewing. It's not really ballet but I think most ballet lovers would enjoy it. There's also a fascinating look behind the scenes at the ROH although you would sadly never know it's used for ballet as well as opera.

alison
I tried watching Black Swan but had to turn it off half way through Well, if anyone wants to give it another go, it is of course on Channel 4 tomorrow night sometime (along with the "RB dancers in Baileys advert").
Amelia
Not newer but older Hollywood ones: "Men in Her LIfe" with Loretta Young and "Waterloo Bridge" with Vivien Leigh.
Sue Brett
The re-emergence of this thread reminds me to ask: has anyone seen Love Tomorrow? Only released this month and I believe it had a premiere at Sadlers Wells though I haven't noticed it being in any cinemas. It stars ENB's Arionel Vargas. I thought it sounded fun but the only newspaper review I have seen was not at all good - along the lines of another turkey of a dance film. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1773554/

Sue Brett
Thank you Frogsmum - not many screenings are there? Apologies alison. I did do search - didn't show up on all forums search but found on the News section eventually, referring to its 2012 outing at Raindance.
