It seems to me that in the old days when you followed a link to YouTube you had the option to start the clip playing or not. Now it seems that the minute you arrive on the page it starts loading/buffering without so much as a by-your-leave. Does anyone know how to prevent it doing this on Internet Explorer 8-and-a-lot, please (operating on XP)? Firefox is not a problem because I've got FlashBlocker installed (well, I suppose that actually is a problem because it means YT won't work ...). I often want to read whether the clip is likely to be of interest to me before I waste bandwidth actually viewing it.
