I don't think Wednesday's 'Insight' relay has yet attracted any comment.  I thought it was excellent and has well and truly whetted the appetite for the full performance in the forthcoming Triple Bill.  Fascinating to see Twyla Tharp putting the finishing touches to her chereography and how well the quartet of dancers responded - Meaghan Grace Hinkis, Anna Rose O'Sullivan, Steven McRae and Joseph Sissens.  Good to hear how the dancers help shape the choreography with Steven in particular providing illustrations.  It must be so enriching for the dancers to be engaged in the creative process.  Great to see younger dancers so involved and how they all 'rose' to the occasion.  Well worth catching on the ROH's website:

Yes, I really enjoyed watching this and found Twyla Tharp to be both entertaining and illuminating. I loved witnessing the interaction between her and the dancers. It would be good to hear from someone who was in the audience for their impressions.

I too enjoyed seeing this online and am now looking forward very much to the rehearsal on Friday.

I was glad I was able to get the rehearsal ticket as all the performances for this mixed bill are on a midweek evening.  The lack of a matinee is very disappointing for those of us who live outside London, as the last fast trains are too early for a 10.30pm finish.

I've noticed that the 7.15pm starts don't apply to triple bills which have 30 minute intervals and finish at 10.30pm, wonder why, I had a horrible rush on Thursday,  just hope that Untouchable is the last ballet and I can choose to give it a miss! The casting for the new ballets looks exciting!

I found this very enjoyable, too. Twyla Tharp looked so calm and measured just one week before the opening night. I really liked the way she interacted with the dancers – encouraging, supportive, getting what she was after in a nice and friendly way.
