It was a while ago. I was speaking about the possibility of getting my son's belongings over from N.Ireland to England, should he go over in September. I've looked and cannot find the comment and link to the luggage someone recommended anywhere. Nor, annoyingly, can I remember who it was who suggested the luggage, or the name of the place where you could buy it. I should have made a note of it at the time but |I never thought. Can anyone find the comment for me, please? Much appreciated. [ No rush, btw].

Thank you Janet. I was suggesting he use Uni Bags and have his belongings shipped over, but people were saying it would work out cheaper just to buy cheap bedding, duvets etc when he got over there.

I think it may have been me Lisa, I private messaged you so presumably you should still have the message. I suggested the wheeled holdalls on Amazon. The brand we have is Jeep, the 27 inch extra large I think which hold about 20-25 kg for airplane travel quite comfortably but I am sure other brands are ok. You just need keep an eye on prices as they all vary a lot depending on colour or pattern.  DDs still look brand new, despite paying less than £20 per case and she has taken them on 4 flights and numerous  train journeys now. Matalan cases - the very lightweight ones - are also a possibility if you can get them in a sale.

TK Maxx has very good deals on luggage - I have bought several brands from there: Victorinox, Wenger (Victorinox's cheaper line) and Kipling, all for much less then anywhere else and all standing up well to use.

I used to live abroad and had Antler for years and they were brilliant, but the quality seems to have gone downhill about 8 years ago and I've stopped buying them.
