MAK
I guessed there were 4 sessions as the last one was 3.30-5pm but just a guess!
Hopeful????
From a 2015 RBS report we got at the JA Day a bit ago, London was then the largest one by far...
Cablegirl
There were 4 sessions in London - each with approximately 24 girls. How many were there at the other centres?
Balletmum55
In Birmingham I think there were 2. 28 in the first session and the second sessions last number was in the 50s, so probably similar numbers in each xx
Foreverdrivingtodance
Can anyone audition for White Lodge???
Balletmum55
Yes definitely flowerpot, and everyone that applies (in the specified time) has an audition. It's a lovely experience xx

Hopeful????
Year 7 has 12-13 openings so if up to it in a way easier for year 7....than any higher year I think.. Hopeful????
If I learned anything from this ....I think we go next time to the centre with the shortest wait for results ???? On a serious note to all the waiting, I hope today you finally get your answer and have happy news ...

MAK
The shortest wait time is frequently the last audition. Don't forget London Yr 7 auditions for girls were only ten days ago ????

Don't forget London Yr 7 auditions for girls were only ten days ago ????Good point ???? I reconsidered, thanks! I won't go for shortest then, as be the last one to know ...Birmingham seems a great one then....???????????? 12 days waiting and in a middle Bath waited threee weeks? So not going there ... Every day feels like 10! Well I wish all good luck and have a feeling we meet in next year chat as well ???? London hope you are the shortest and get yours today!!! LoobyLou
To all those trying for yr 7 places, can I ask what grades your dc were at when they auditioned? Especially those who only started ballet fairly recently.
Cablegirl
LoobyLou, I can only speak from the examples of the girls in my daughter's JA class and they seem to be either grade 3 or 4. I don't know of any who started ballet that recently though, they have all been doing it for a number of years. That's not to say that that is a prerequisite for doing well at the auditions though!

DancingPrincess
Well, i heard back today and it seems I only applied for the MA's! I felt something was wrong yesterday but was sure I had put both. A simple, not now, would have felt better than this! Really, really stupid mistake!!! amos73
Oh no DancingPrincess. So sorry to hear that you thought you had ticked both boxes. Did they say anything re when you would hear for MAs?
Balletmum55
Oh no dancing princess!! Don't suppose there's anything they can do now or did they offer you any advice? Xxx
DancingPrincess
They said that normally they are able to add on if told in time, but this was way too late as final decisions had been made a while ago. She also said the MA results would be out at Easter.
amos73
Really sorry to hear this DP. It is one of my biggest worries with audition forms - "did I tick the right box or not?"
Hopeful????
I know there is nothing at the moment to make you feel better but just to ease it maybe a tiny bit...They still consider everybody for both ...and they would invite to finals regardless .... so pls don't feel so bad about not having it marked DancingPrincess... You might end up on of the very few lucky ones who get MA... And some who get finals might get nothing at the end.... Really hope you get an MA and make it to WL shortly after still!

southerndancemum
We're still waiting for yr7 London result too... Jump every time my email pings. How long does it take to do one centre even if it was the biggest... :/
Cablegirl
I know what you mean! Email is the worst form of communication in many ways as it hangs over you all day. You know that the email could arrive at any time!

MAK
We just received a no for WL from the Yr 7 London audition. It's what we expected but of course still disappointed, especially after getting SWL for JAs last year. Good luck everyone ???? Balletmum55
So sorry to hear that MAK xxx I hope your dc is ok and will try again in the future xxxx Now the longer wait for MAs? What's the MA class in London like, is it the same as Birmingham where it's just 1 combined class for years 7,8 and 9 (hence very few places?) MAK
Thank you Balletmummy55. DD2 absolutely fine and as philosophical as ever (although I think she's slightly disappointed about not seeing White Lodge!).
