Jan McNulty
I am so very sorry to hear that the sexual assault campaigner Jill Saward has passed away far too early at the age of 51. I well remember the Ealing Vicarage outrage and the outrageous comments and sentencing made by the judge in the trial. I will never forget Jill Saward's bravery in breaking her anonymity and speaking out. Sincere condolences to her family and friends at this very sad time. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-38522714 http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-38516389
Jacqueline
I was sorry to hear this news on the radio earlier. Miss Saward showed such courage, both at the time of the terrible attack to which she was subjected and the disgraceful aftermath. My condolences to her family and friends. Thank you Janet, for bringing this to the attention of the forum.
Lisa O`Brien
Very sorry to hear about the death of Jill Saward. I too remember hearing about what happened to her. And then to show the courage she displayed afterwards is something I have never forgotten. RIP.
