John Mallinson Posted July 2, 2012 Share Posted July 2, 2012 This triple bill comprised Birthday Offering, made in 1956 by Frederick Ashton for the 25th anniversary of the founding of the Vic-Wells Ballet in 1931; Ashton's perennial favourite, A Month in the Country, from 1976; Les Noces, created by Bronislava Nijinska in 1923.
