Anna C Posted July 10, 2016 Posted July 10, 2016 Thank you, BBA. We prefer it if summer schools etc update their pre-existing thread, so I have merged the two threads for you. :-)
alison Posted July 13, 2016 Posted July 13, 2016 Hello, BBA. I had a look for this on your website, but couldn't find details. Is it at LPSB like the usual classes?(The studio looks stunning, BTW. I'm just amazed that someone actually built one at a *boys'* school! Is it the "Billy Elliot" effect? )BTW, while I'm writing it might just be worth pointing out that, as per the BBC News last night, Southern Trains appear to have taken a hatchet to the London Bridge to Beckenham Junction service, so the only trains to Beckenham Junction will be running via Victoria. Might be just as easy to get a fast train to Bromley South and get the 358 bus round the rest of the way, I'd guess. Alternatively, a train to Penge would actually get more bus options than one to Beckenham.Actually, scratch all that. Assuming that it *is* at the Schools, the obvious thing to do would be Charing Cross/Cannon Street to Eden Park, thereby avoiding all the fuss.
BBA Posted July 16, 2016 Author Posted July 16, 2016 Hi Alison, Sorry you couldn't find any details. Yes the studios are really beautiful and yes it's crazy that a boys school has 3 dance studios all air conditioned, mirrored, barred and sprung !! We are very lucky to be the only dance school using their facilities. Trains to Eden Park from Charing Cross are the quickest and simplest route, but many buses stop just up the road too. All places are now filled with students coming from as far away as the Lake District. Really excited to welcome all the students x 1
