cavycapers
I was just watching telly and an advert for BRB Taming of the Shrew at the Bristol Hippodrome came on, and this took me by surprise, as I had no idea this was on (end June, beginning July). Is it just I hadn't noticed, or is this a new announcement does anyone know? I suspect the latter, as not may tickets sold.
Jan McNulty
It was announced months ago. It is the final week of the season. It's quite a few years since BRB have been to Bristol, perhaps they need to build their audience anew. alison
Yes, in recent years Bristol has been an ENB haunt.
cavycapers
Gosh, that one passed me by. I guess i wasn't looking for it because, as Alison says, the ENB always come in the autumn, and some terrible Russian company come in January. What an unexpected treat. Tickets bought for two nights. I guess the ad was because sales have been very poor hope it picks up soon. I'm guessing, like Janet says, that people wouldn't be expecting it, like me. cavycapers
Oh lawks, just looked at tickets available, and so few have sold the BRB'll never come back now. I do wonder if 6 performances of Taming of the Shrew in might have been a bit over ambitious for Bristol. Really, only a handful sold, even on Friday and Saturday nights.
