newtothismum
Hi. My daughter has been offered a place on an associate course for September 2016. The deposit to secure this place is due at the beginning of June. She has had a further audition, for which results will not be known until the following month. My question is, if we were to accept the first offer and then withdraw would we simply lose the deposit or be liable to pay the first terms fees? Hope someone can help with my question! Very new to all of this! Thank you ☺
Picturesinthefirelight
You would have to check the terms & conditions.

Picturesinthefirelight
Does I say a full terms notice or half notice must be given?
newtothismum
Hello and welcome to the Forum.Could you telephone them and ask ,or email? I feel a little rude asking but surely this happens a lot if children have done a few different auditions as the results come out at differing times. newtothismum
Does I say a full terms notice or half notice must be given? its says full terms notice - deposit will be deducted from final terms fees.
Picturesinthefirelight
It's impossible to say without reading the full terms. For school fees I had to pay a full term in lieu when dd went to a different senior school.
Anon2
Is it usual for associate schemes to ask for a deposit so far in advance of term starting?
Petalviolet
I don't remember paying the deposit for either associate scheme until I'd heard back from the final audition which was RB and those results were out..June? I wouldn't worry I don't think you will lose your place.
