Lisa O`Brien
Yes very sad indeed. I used to really like The Two Ronnies. Who else remembers the sketch in the show called The Phantom Raspberry Blower? Hilarious. RIP.

Quintus
Very sad. The Two Ronnies were hugely clever, versatile, professional and likeable, and half the nation seemed to tune in when they were on. BBC News just quoted Ant and Dec and said the Ronnies' crown had passed to them. What an insult - such empty vessels in comparison.
LinMM
Both Ronnie Corbett and Ronnie Barker were somehow just innately funny especially Corbett....you can imagine having a real giggling fit with him!! It is sad we seem to be losing a lot of entertainment icons this year already but his legacy is that some sketches and shows you can see over and over again and just not get tired of them....a mark of greatness I think.
Melody
I loved The Two Ronnies - the humour was really clever, especially for people who appreciate the sort of wordplay they used (much of which was apparently written by Ronnie Barker). I was very pleased to see the absolutely classic Four Candles sketch on YouTube recently. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oaGpaj2nHIo I hadn't realised until recently that Ronnie Corbett was Scottish.
